Dinner for our large group was served promptly and was tasty and good value given the location. Ambience is old world and even old school; it's quirky, dusty and unusual so go with an open mind and you'll enjoy. The tiny bar is a highlight.
There for dinner on a Friday night for my birthday. Excellent service, great food and retro decor. Cool night, so the open log fire was a lovely bonus as were the jazz trio and the surprise choc pudding with a candle. The Groovy jazz trio Radio Jazz sang Happy Birthday and the other diners all joined in. Chuffed. Highly recommend 👌
Such an amazingly decorated space full of beauties and curios. And not just a feast for the eyes, our entire large lunch group was completely blown away by the food and wine we were served. Well worth the short trip from Melbourne.
Ken complains that there are no locals coming back and customers don't really return. The thing is, the food is terrible. If anyone mentions this to Ken or his staff, it's met with aggression. Ken just cannot take the criticism. The place is also not family friendly. Last time we dined, we sat next to the fire. Our food took ages to arrive and we were told "the chef is having a meltdown in there". My eyes were at window sill level and I had the pleasure of having half a dozen dead flies watching me eat. While eating I was thinking that they're probably dead due to eating this food. The food was disgusting. Easily the worst food of the area. The poor band was playing to an empty room. The dining area is filthy with dusty op shop knick knacks on the walls, mis matched furniture and curtains that are musty and have stains. Very few locals go to this pub because despite the convenience it is so terrible. Ken and owners please go to other pubs and see how good it could be.
Everything about Radio Springs Hotel is on point. The ambience, wine, warmth, food and fabulous staff.
Every detail is considered and I always leave feeling I've had the perfect indulgence.
I'm looking forward to returning this weekend- a band / music to match the perfect mood of this old pub and fingers crossed there will be snow.
We went for lunch with friends today what a great day our food was beautiful and the service was great and the staff were very friendly and if anyone is looking to go for a drive it's really worth the effort
Loved everything about it, the atmosphere, the rooms, the decor the gardens, the food and particularly Ken.
